Proposing an idea #35

To level a playing field between the retail investors and hf, we need to understand what type of information hfs collect on subs such as WSB.

Fundamental and technical analysis are easily available to all of us at this point, so there is no need to replicate that data. The idea, as some of you mentioned before, is to collect and process alternative data and then present it to the end user in an easy to read format.

The first step in my opinion would be to scrape the subs and define some alternative metrics (i.e. change in call option posts/change in the underlying security price). Then to test if those metrics are statistically significant. Are they correlated with traditional ratios?

Once we have those metrics that are meaningful we can brainstorm on how to present that data.

What are your thought on it?
