HAP Q Alpha in FFMPEG

Is there any reason FFMPEG not supporting HAPQ Alpha ?

It should be possible to implement. I once started an attempt to do so, but had to learn my c-knowledge is way insufficient for such a task. It is not a simple hack, since HAPQ Alpha requires handling a BC3 Color Texture + BC4 Alpha texture.

Hap R should be superior to that now.
It also supports alpha channel, giving better quality at same time (and smaller file size, but not 100% sure about that).

It supports encoding Hap R, through forked ffmpeg binary included as well

No source code of your ffmpeg fork ? That would be good to make a pull request in FFMPEG to have HapR decoding & encoding support in official FFMPEG builds
