I'd like to propose setting up a separate database for the auth-api-gateway to align with microservices best practices and ensure our authentication service remains independently scalable, secure, and deployable without coupling to other services' data layers.

Proposed Plan:

Development & Testing:

• Use H2 in-memory database for local development and unit tests
• Use PostgreSQL via Docker Compose for integration testing (matches production environment)

Production:

• Dedicated PostgreSQL instance (separate from other services)

Implementation:

• Create docker-compose.yml for local PostgreSQL setup
• Update application.properties with profile-specific configurations

This approach gives us zero-friction local development with H2, production-like testing with Docker。
