OpenStacks for Change is built in the spirit of public interest work. We are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and harassment-free environment for everyone — regardless of experience level, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality.
- Be respectful and constructive in discussions, reviews, and feedback
- Assume good intent — most miscommunication is accidental
- Give credit where it's due
- Focus on what is best for the community and for the people our tools are meant to serve
- Be mindful that development work involves sensitive populations and contexts
- Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
- Dismissive or demeaning comments about someone's technical ability, background, or approach
- Publishing others' private information without consent
- Sustained disruption of discussions or collaborative work
- Any conduct that would be inappropriate in a professional development sector setting
This Code of Conduct applies to all OpenStacks repositories, discussions, issues, pull requests, wiki pages, and any other spaces where the community interacts.
If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact Varna Sri Raman directly. All reports will be reviewed and handled confidentially.
Maintainers who do not follow or enforce the Code of Conduct in good faith may face temporary or permanent consequences as determined by the project's leadership.
This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
