A user at MSS requested this feature, amd specifically mentioned PDB format. PDBs are available from the same AlphaFold endpoint we are using to get the CIF file (as pdbUrl).
Ideally, user would be able to download the model in a format that preserves the color scheme. The molstar viewer already includes some download options, such as OBJ format, so would need to test these out to see if colors are preserved, and determine which formats are most commonly used/compatible with other software.
