Symptoms

Game does not launch, dependencies appear to install but the main game launcher window never does.

Reproduction

1. Install America's Army 3
2. Set any Proton version, launch, game throws error "Could not find supported game information" (Maybe Punkbuster?)
3. Launch game again, installs dependencies, then crashes
4. Launch game again, no window appears, just crashes

Hello @Hoff16, err:virtual:map_file_into_view failed to set PROT_EXEC on file map, noexec filesystem? in your Proton log doesn't look healthy. What filesystem are you using with /home/hoff/Steam Library 2/? Do other games work with Proton and that Steam library folder?

Completely ignoring that, err:module:import_dll Library MFC80.DLL (which is needed by L"Z:\\home\\hoff\\Steam Library 2\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\america's army 3\\Binaries\\AA3Loader.exe") not found looks like the line of interest from your Proton log.

Thanks for the info, I have plenty of other games installed and working fine in that partition.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now it launches properly but there are still aspects of the launcher that don't work. One of which is how you get into the single-player training portion of the game. I'll document that and send a new file!
