autocomplete variable name in the variable metadata entry widget

The autocomplete feature of the variable metadata entry widget became pretty much unusable after the re-write (unresponsive), perhaps due to a change in the jQuery library. It would be awesome to get that working again :-)

The CF standard_name list shipped with Rosetta (version 19):

src/main/webapp/frontEndResources/cf-standard-name-table.xml

is pretty out of date with the current version on the CF site (verson 59):

http://cfconventions.org/Data/cf-standard-names/59/src/cf-standard-name-table.xml

so that should probably get updated as well.
