Umlauts appear as question marks

Hello.

When I try to write a text with "ä" , "ö" or "ü" in the page header field in the Forum ACP / Extensions / Group Subscription / Settings, two question marks appear both in the ACP but also on the Subscription page.

Pull requests are welcome, but I don't anticipate this being an issue I have time to investigate since it doesn't effect our install.
