Army gets deselected when moving camera with drag right click

Bug Description

Tested this in every version of the game, happens in all of them.

When you have units selected and you are moving your camera by holding right click and drag method then there is a chance you will deselect your army when releasing the right mouse key after dragging your camera.

Yeah, the distance and time are not enough to be considered dragging so the game considers it a 'click'. People with high scroll speeds should be affected most.

Data\INI\Mouse.ini:

DragTolerance   = 25  ; How many pixels should we allow before it is a drag?
DragToleranceMS = 250 ; if the mouse is held down for this long, we consider it a drag, not a click.

DragTolerance3D = 25  ; How many feet in worldspace should we allow before it is a drag?

DragTolerance3D is not used in the code.

It'd appear that way, though it's odd that some people on Generals Online are reporting the issue now (just after they did a recent update). The issue also happens in the retail game.

Let's keep this open until we have some more information from the players that are affected.

Did we merge any change related to this functionality? I cannot recall.

The issue is more that the camera starts moving even when you move like 1 pixel and once you see the camera move you dont expect your army to be deselected. instead of doing 1 or the other it does both.

So either we can make the amount of pixels you move the cursor to be slightly smaller so this effect would happen way less and allow the players to change DragTolerance from the option.ini,
or we can make a change so aslong as you are not over this dragtolerance it does not move the screen but there is a possibility players wont like that.

Also any change made will also slightly effect the left click selection box. So if you make the DragTolerance smaller it will change how much your cursor can move before it go`s from giving a move command to the selectionbox.

So this is a very delicate change. But can prevent lots of missmicro or results in more missmicro depending on how it gets changed.
