I use Idea to import this project , but can't work.

It works on our showcase (http://showcase.bootsfaces.net/Examples/), so it probably isn't broken.

Did you try to build the *.war file from the command line? Maybe the Gradle files contain something clever IntelliJ doesn't cope with.
