On my OnePlus 6 latest TWRP version which works fine is 3.3.1-2. Attempt to fastboot boot any newer version (3.4.0-0 … 3.5.0_9-0) result in same (successful) console output and switching phone screen to showing "Fastboot Mode", but after that 3.3.1-2 boots while all others hangs. In this mode neither fastboot devices nor adb devices work and I had to hold power button to switch off the phone and then hold again to switch it on.
Any idea what may be wrong and how to debug it?
No idea is that important, but latest firmware on the phone in last ~2 years was LineageOS 16.0, i.e. Android 9, latest original firmware from OnePlus was before that, so maybe some original blob updates wasn't released/applied at that point?
