Firstly, it gives players an alternative to relying solely on Applied Energistics. I understand that some systems and integrations are inherently tied to AE, and that’s completely fair. However, for basic storage needs, I personally feel this mod is the better option. It doesn’t impose the same type restrictions that Applied Energistics does, which makes it more flexible and user-friendly for general storage. Overall, it serves as a solid alternative rather than a replacement, giving players more choice in how they manage storage.

For your own worlds or servers AE2 can be configured to have no channels limit at all.

I honestly had no idea about that, but it’s good to know. I still think it’s a solid mod and would make a good addition to the pack, but I understand and respect y’all’s decision.

I have seen in the past modpacks with quest books have added a "config" quest that you use to toggle game settings. Wonder if that could be a useful alternative here.

not having RS in a large pack nowadays is a crime! no way im playing this pack without RS.

Yeah, nah, we much prefer AE2.

screw AE on XL packs it's just so bad, why do i spend hours crafting lots of items to craft some disks that won't even serve me good? and a wireless crafting grid that is nerfed as hell compared to RS, i can have everything i need in a single disk and the wireless gird doesn't take a hour of crafting stuff, RS for life!

let AE die along with it's stupid limits in XL packs

1. Did you not read you can remove the channel limit in AE2?

2. Drives are not mandatory, storage buses are very cheap and allow one to use the storage of their choice.

3. You're of course free to alter your own instance or server.

4. This isn't a debate, issue is closed.
