Document programming features #334

@FireChickenProductivity

Description

It was agreed in a community backlog session that the community commands for writing computer code has become difficult for new users to learn. I agreed to work on addressing this.

I want to discuss:

  • snippets
  • code formatters
  • operators
  • common functions
  • pair commands (round, box, curly)
  • cursorless (by linking to cursorless documentation and providing a brief description)
  • keywords (though expanding keyword support is in progress)
  • some useful language specific things
  • how to discover useful features for your language from the community files (including how to understand the directory structure and find functionality based on the tags a language activates)
