Hi bro, one question: Can I use this project in Unity version 2022.3.24? Because when I did it, the webview screen came up blank.

Thanks for the information. I tested this project with Unity 2022.3.19 (not 2022.3.24) and it built successfully (But I haven't tested it on an actual device yet). I misread your comment. Did it work with Xreal when using Unity 2021 ?

I also tested the build with NRSDK (I don't have Xreal, so build only), and it is true that the NRSDK is removing the part you pointed out in previous comment from the manifest file.

However, the cause of the blank web page has not yet been determined.

Can you provide any output from Logcat, etc., and was there any difference between the sites with the http scheme and those with the https scheme (If only http communication is not allowed, you may get a blank page when you open a site with a http scheme) ?

In many cases, a blank web page can be caused by the app's cache. In this case, deleting the app cache, uninstalling the app, and reinstalling it should solve the problem.

I just modified AndroidManifest.xml so that the this project can be built on Unity 2022 (This change is now reflected in the repository). As a result, I was able to display the web page using Unity 2022 (But the test was done with Oculus Quest 2). However, when I upgraded to Unity 2022, there was a problem with the controller and hand tracking in my environment. I do not know if this was a mistake that occurred during the upgrade from Unity 2021 to Unity 2022, but I recommend using Unity 2021 whenever possible.

Also, I don't know how NRSDK works, but if it is integrated with Oculus Integration, please check network_sec_config.xml on the Oculus Integration side. The item “clearTextTrafficPermitted” is set to false, and unless this item is set to true, the http scheme site cannot be opened (instead a blank screen is displayed). The https scheme site can be opened by default.

In my project I have scripts and plugins that run on Unity 2022 version, I try to do everything you told me, I didn't have the problem with manual tracking but the image still appears blank and doesn't give me any error logs, I'm still trying to get it to work because I used it for a while on Oculus and I thought it was a wonderful webview!

Thanks for the information. If your project uses Vulkan API, please switch it to OpenGLES or switch WebView's CaptureMode from HardwareBuffer to ByteBuffer and see if the plug-in works after that. At first, I thought that the problem might be caused by a problem around WebView's cache, but after reviewing other issues, I thought it might be a problem around the Vulkan implementation of this plug-in or HardwareBuffer.

Thanks for attaching the pictures. If possible, could you show me the Logcat of the running device? At the moment, I have no idea what is causing the plug-ins to not work properly.

I would like to know if the problem is caused by the NRSDK or the device it is running on. I've never used XReal myself, but maybe the application itself is executed on the smartphone and the rendering result is output via cable to the glasses? If so, please deploy this repository to a smartphone connected to XReal and check if the plug-in works on the smartphone alone.
