Linux Build?

Hello! Just asking if a linux binary (With auto updating)

Is being built and released soon, Thanks for listening! (I use a ubuntu based distribution, So I'm free for testing anything.)

I would seriously love this! With Windows 10 depreciating this year and the privacy mess that is Windows 11 I'm migrating completely to Linux and getting standalone apps to work with Wine is one thing, but I don't think an obs plug-in can be brute forced (at least not with my skill). I really want that multistream chat feature you just released!

+1 from me, I really miss the whole streamelements ecosystem built into my OBS since switching to Linux. It brings all these features into one plugin that would otherwise need multiple. I want to use all the new features like Multi-Stream, Multi-Chat and the unified Activity Feed but I can't and it's a bummer.

I see Linux-specific code in the repo (e.g. linux-keyboard-helpers.hpp), so I'm pretty sure you support Linux. My only issue is that I cannot find any build instructions for Linux and (maybe because your CDN doesn't support listing files, only accessing ones with a known link?) no binary builds either.

And because everyone writes here when they started using Linux…

… I'll do it too. I used Linux from the start, starting with my first own computer that was a RasPi 3B+ in late 2018, running RasPiOS (back then still called "Raspbian"). Nowadays I use Fedora KDE.

I would also love to use it. Nowadays there is more demand in linux streaming than macos.

Throwing my +1 into the ring on this. PLEASE add a Linux build of SE.Live! I'm thoroughly DONE with Windows and their anti-consumer, privacy-invasive ways, and I'd absolutely LOVE to be able to have the StreamElements panels in OBS on my Linux machine!

I forked this repository and implemented a few improvements. I’ve been testing it locally and it’s working quite well so far.

I’ve added documentation along with a script to help with building and installation:

I’d really appreciate if anyone could give it a try — especially on different Linux distros — and share feedback.

Depending on the results, I’m planning to open a pull request to merge these changes into the main branch. It would also be great to collaborate on expanding the README-linux-build to better support multiple environments.
