What happens if I have one of the csv files open in Excel while the pipeline is running and it attempts to overwrite?

Testing on the unix file shares (statgen GDC, statgen2, statgen3) indicates the typical lock Excel places on an open file is not effective and thus the pipeline can overwrite as expected. If you are in a dual-mode share, the behavior might be different and the pipeline may die as soon as it fails to overwrite the file. Hopefully (although not tested), it won't fail to overwrite the file and then proceed to conduct the analysis using the old file which may not have the correct contents.
