ic_launcher duplicate error on 'com.specyci:residemenu:1.6'

I'm having duplicate problems with the ic_launcher icon when compiling with gradle in Android Studio.
According to this update:

that issue should no longer exist but I found that the existing version in MavenCentral is from January and the update I refer to is from June.
