gui not opening on windows 11

hello,

have windows 11. doubleclick the main.exe, the setup db file is created, looks as if a gui window attempts to open, but end up with no gui window.

restarted computer and ran as administrator... gui is open now.

Ok Im glad that was the fix. I haven't worked on it in a long while, but glad it works on windows 11. Has it been working(ish) as intended since your last comment?

It's definitely glitchy. LOL. It's been a while since I've used it. It's glitches at startup, then seems to start working for a few minutes, then stops working. Not really sure how it's supposed to work though. I've messed around with python on the past, just for fun, thought maybe I'd look into the code, just haven't had time. LOL

Yea I unfortunately didn't write it well as this was just like a beginner project for fun that turned out working surprisingly for me. If want to collaborate I could see about actually reworking some of it, but to solve your issue, after running as admin and clicking it, do you get a small error window with text you could copy and paste into here?

Hey! If you are still needing the app, I have redone it quite a bit and am releasing hopefully a working version lol. It still isn't my dream as it doesnt get your gamedata but still just clicks the images. Let me know if it works or any tips if youre still wanting to use it :)

Hey snoop... So i got the new version and it launches nicely, runs for about 30 seconds to a minute then closes? The one with clan boss, actually goes to clan boss tab, but then moves mouse outside of game window, goes back into it and then the whole game and helper close out?

Hmm I'll try to troubleshoot. What size screen are you using and OS? Does it reach the clan boss selection page or the clan boss and hydra page? Thanks

Hi there, windows 11, I believe it's a 15 inch laptop. Reaches clanboss hydra combo page. It closes popups fine. The details of which one I'm launching are fuzzy. One has collected the time rewards fine as well. The log dies not have much info, just something regarding having found the path to raid. On the clan boss hydra combo page, the mouse centers between the two, a little closer to hydra, then slowly moves downward a little beyond the resized game window. And at that point I belive it closes out suddenly. Recollection is a little vague. I've got a video recording, but trying to figure out how to remove my player ID and screen name.... haha, don't want plarium to bust me if they want to. Haha

Hi I was thinking if you could add a "Stop" or "Reset" script button... And if you could possibly add some error feedback code like " unable to find image for clanboss" or, "unable to find image for Classic Arena".... Ive disabled the Start on Auto setting .ini's and am able to one by one test the functions, but im guessing i have to restart the app every time i want to check a function. Thats why i thought a "Stop/Reset" button on the GUI would be useful, at least for troubleshooting purposes. Anyways, stellar work, very impressive, youve truly built a nice little script here! Ill keep trying to put together an IDE and dependencies to see if i can do a little code diggin on my own. Thanks! Best, Jeff Ps. Im wondering if there is a way to adjust the speed at which the code executes, and have a window that displays the line of code that is currently being processed? You could definitely clone my repository and then simply run the .py file. Like what I do is run PyAutoRaid.py in vscode ide and add breakpoints where I want it to stop. (Run in debug mode). Then you can see what it works till.

It should run the function until it finishes. It only will not if it fails, then it should "crash". So ideally you run each function until nothing happens and then just click another and run again. lmk if that works still, but thats how I tested.

I had issues with a reset button before so i took it out but I can try again. Stop is tricky too cuz I will need to prob make a thread to stop the main func or have a lot of stop checks in the code. tbh I am just a little confused haha.

I definitely am gonna make better logs though so that we can actually debug this and not have it so frustrating.

Also, Is your screen resolution 1920 x 1080?

Right on, I'll check it out. Not much familiarity with git hub and scripts with several components. I usually make one super long script for the little things I do. I think I understand what yiur saying and will get into it. Found something called Ghidra, haven't figured it out, but seems it's not necessary. I go off on tangents when I start messing around with this stuff. Thanks, I'll get back to ya shortly.
