A question about an algorithm behind the background signature

Dear staff.

Thanks for maintaining this excellent tool.

Could you briefly explain the algorithm behind the background signature?

It seems that the results change when the add_background_signatures parameter is set differently (TRUE or FALSE), even though SBS1 and SBS5 exist in the signature database.
