backpack placed on floor (because we can equip it ...)
take with pickaxe (silk touch ?) and turn the backpack intro player's head.

we can't acces to the inventory anymore.

so the back pack plugin has been great up until i realised you might not be able to store back packs inside of back packs but you certainly can have a backpack in every slot of your inventory. there isnt enough configuration choices ( edit the amount of slots in the backpacks possibly even create new backpacks, changing the crafting recipes could be a good idea, definitely restriction settings for how many backpacks players can hold at once. ive managed to install a seperate plugin to allow only 1 of each backpack to be held in an inventory at once but as the backpack tiers count as a different item different tier backpacks can be held together.

@Fr-Dae I unfortunately cannot reproduce the issue you described.
Placing the backpack on the ground with Shift + Right Click is intended behavior.
When I break the backpack with a Silk Touch pickaxe, it drops correctly and remains usable afterwards.

Some of the things you mentioned are unfortunately limitations of Minecraft plugins themselves. For example, things like stack size are handled client-side, so plugins cannot really change how many of an item can be held in an inventory slot. Because of that, there is no clean or simple way to enforce limits like “only X backpacks per inventory” directly through the plugin.

The same applies to things like custom crafting recipes. While they are technically possible, making them fully configurable usually requires quite complex configuration structures, which I tried to avoid to keep the plugin simple to use.

Backpacks inside backpacks were intentionally disabled. I considered this too overpowered, because it effectively creates unlimited inventory space.

That said, I could add an optional setting that allows this “backpack inception” behavior for servers that want it.

But things like stack size limits are unfortunately a hard limitation of Minecraft itself, not something a plugin can control.
