Explore button doesn't re-open "Examples" overlay

When first opening the app, we get a nicely laid out overlay with an examples gallery. After using the app for some time, it is not possible to get back to this gallery. The "Examples" (rocketship) button places everything in a tiny side-panel, which hard to read. In my opinion this is a bug.

Suggestion: Explore button activates the gallery overlay.
