Crc (checksum) calculation 

Is there a way to display the crc (checksum) of the can message either through the gui (graphical user interface) or through python? I see only No, Direction, Time scale, Frame Type, Frame Format, Frame ID, Data Length, Data. If there's no way then is it open source? I mean then maybe I can edit and add the crc functionality? Thanks
