Update ASC Review and Assessment costs #9

Earlier this year ASC surveyed staff on the length of time it took them to complete Assessments and Reviews. 92 individuals responded (the overall workforce is far larger than this) but the mean was 2.3 hours for an Assessment and 1.3 hours for a Review. No transport time is included in this, just the time to complete the process and the write up. Transport time is not currently captured separately.
In CLD ‘Requests’ are generally just a record of a request/referral for service, so I think 1 hour of time is adequate, but we may wish to consider increasing the 1 hour of social worker time currently allocated for Assessments and Reviews.
