Sometimes Using The Copy Tool Doesn’t Work

Current behaviour

Sometimes when you use the copy tool, it will actually copy the box but when you go to paste it, you see the outline but nothing gets pasted. You must use the ;copy command in order to get it fully copied.

Expected behaviour

The copy tool and ;copy command work identically

Steps to reproduce

1. make a selection.
2. use the copy tool.
3. use the paste tool.
4. when it doesn’t work, go back to the selection and try the ;copy command.
5. try the paste tool again
