The road to 1.0.0

This is more of an open question.

Once Rust is out of beta, I'd like to aim for a 1.0.0 release. I think there are a couple of issues outstanding that need resolving, and some SDL2 features we're not currently pulling through.

Does anyone have strong opinions on what 1.0.0 should look like?

Maybe we can create a 1.0.0 milestone and assign issues to it of what needs to be done?

I'm going to go with make sure we've got autogenerating documentation that makes sense.

A pattern in piston-graphics is to reexport those on top level. Some other libraries, like num og gfx uses a trait submodule where you can import the traits.

Some really basic reexports could be nice, such as ones that follow the sdl2::foo::Foo pattern. I'm a fan!

Maybe not everything should be reexported - the documentation would have a hellishly long "reexports" section if that happened (unless you're thinking of a prelude module of sorts). Barring renames, there are some reexports that could potentially be confusing, such as sdl2::hint::set() => sdl2::set(). Certain functions would need renaming if they're reexported.
Even worse, I can already see flame-wars in other projects on what the usage convention should be (e.g. sdl2::Button ovr sdl2::controller::Button, no ur dum!). But that's only my hunch. I like Python's "one obvious way to do it" philosophy.
