Asp.Net Core 2.0 app doesn't start after adding the LogDNA provider

After adding logDNA in the configureServices method the application does not start. I've tried this with an existing application and a brand new one but still get the same results. There are no exceptions thrown and I'm using a valid ingestion key.

Thanks for the heads-up, @bayological ! Can you give me a bit more detail on your environment and the version of ASP.NET (Framework / Core) you're using?

We're using this extensively in ASP.NET Core 2.0 APIs and not experiencing this problem.

I'm using Microsoft.AspNetCore 2.0.0.

Old thread but same problem here. The AddLogging call is blocking and keeps the ConfigureServices from returning.

@sniperosx Doesn't look like this library is being maintained, last commit was 3 years ago. You could probably get away with writing your own provider, I think that's what I did. There may even be other libraries available now though I haven't checked.
