bug: Google search results shows a small favicon image

Bug description

Google search results shows a small favicon, when other sites show larger icons.

It appears this might be fixed by:

• Using a favicon size that is a multiple of 48 pixels (192 pixels is recommended)
• Adding Apple touch fav icons (icon images have no transparency) to the root index.html page.
• Adding transparency to the default favicon.ico
