Rayman Forever Crashes After Starting Game

Rayman Forever (GOG version) crashes after selecting "Start" on a save file. Mods installed: "Replace incomplete soundtrack" and "Install the Rayman FMVs mod"

Hi!
The FMV mod only works for the GOG version if you have a patched version of the game or if you have the Per-Level Soundtrack tool enabled. Without it the game can not play the FMV files and will crash upon trying to do so.

Thank you for your quick response! I did also try disabling all mods for the game, and it still crashed after selecting a save file in-game. I reverted to the previous version of RCP, and that fixed my issues, so I'm simply not updating RCP for now.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you have the per-level soundtrack enabled? If so it shouldn't be crashing when using the FMV mod. Reverting to an older RCP version shouldn't affect that either.

I'm not sure if it's related to your issue, but there was a bug in the last version of the Per-level Soundtrack which would cause the game not to launch for some people. That has since been resolved with the latest version.

That may have been it, I know I was using the per-level soundtrack at one point. Though I could've sworn I disabled it when I disabled all the mods to see if the vanilla game would run, and still ran into a crash.

I'm very close to finishing my playthrough, and since I'm in a stable state, I wanna beat the game before I try to recreate the issue again.
