KPI Tool v0.1.0 - Release Notes

🎉 Initial Release

KPI Tool is a standalone desktop application for tracking developer performance through ticket management, bug tracking, and monthly KPI reporting.

✨ Features

Developer Management

  • Add and manage team members with roles (junior, mid, senior, lead)
  • Track developer status (active/inactive)
  • View developer details and statistics

Ticket Tracking

  • Create and assign tickets with due dates
  • Track ticket status through workflow (assigned → in_progress → review → completed)
  • Monitor on-time delivery and ticket reopens
  • Support for different complexity levels (low, medium, high, critical)

Bug Classification

  • Report and classify bugs by type:
    • Developer Error - Coding mistakes (affects KPI)
    • Conceptual - Requirement misunderstandings (minor KPI impact)
    • Requirement Change - Spec changes (no KPI impact)
    • Environment - Infrastructure issues (no KPI impact)
    • Third-Party - External dependencies (no KPI impact)
  • Track bug resolution with resolver assignment
  • Link bugs to fix tickets

KPI Calculation

  • Delivery Score: Based on on-time ticket completion with bonuses for early delivery
  • Quality Score: Based on bug classification (only developer errors affect score)
  • Overall Score: Weighted average of delivery and quality (configurable)
  • Trend Analysis: Compare current performance with 3-month average

Reports & Visualization

  • Generate monthly KPI reports for individual developers or entire team
  • Visual charts:
    • Ticket breakdown (bar chart)
    • Bug type breakdown (pie chart)
    • Performance trends (line chart)
  • Export reports as CSV or HTML (for PDF printing)
  • Developer KPI deep-dive with historical performance analysis

Dashboard

  • Real-time team performance overview
  • Widget-based layout with key metrics
  • Quick actions (Add Ticket, Report Bug)
  • Recent activity feed
  • Monthly trend visualization

Settings & Configuration

📦 Installation

  1. Download KPI Tool_0.1.0_aarch64.dmg
  2. Open the DMG file
  3. Drag "KPI Tool" to your Applications folder
  4. Launch from Applications
