Hook up the CTS somehow?

this would be a lot of work (wrangling a primordial C/C++ project onto a wholly unsupported platform) but probably justified by the thorough checking of error case handling alone. Another interesting option would be to write a rust-compatible CTS runner that can run custom Rust tests alongside CTS test cases
