Digital Camera Recipe Misassigned

I'm running a 1.12.2 modded server and since there's no configs for this mod (on version 1.0.3), I searched for a solution and found none. The precise issue is that there's no way to craft the Digital Camera, where the mod's download page on CurseForge shows a recipe that should produce it with 4 black wool, a glass pane, and a diamond. This recipe does show in JEI, but only as an alternative to making Ye Olde Camera.

Is there any insight as to why this issue exists, or how to fix it?

Also worth mentioning is that both the server and client are using the 1.0.3 .jar file, yet the mod is being listed in the Mod Options as version 1.0 (0.0.1), as pictured.
