subtitles support?

I know this might be a little obvious request... but given the fact that the site is working awesomely, it would be even more awesome to have some minimal subtitle support in order to make the web version a realistic and suitable alternative to the desktop popcorn. 
Thanks in advance for the effort, and let me know if there is something I can help with (altough i'm not a programmer).
