I am struggling to understand how to properly set up a g2 measurement. I have experience in the past using IDQ cards, where you can pull out coincidences. Then you would just normalise by the product of the channel 1 and channel 2 (from whatever exposure you set).
With snAPI, I find it very confusing how historySize and numBins work. For example, the multiharp software has no problem having a bin size of 80ps and displaying tens of nanoseconds time range.
It seems to me that historySize is essentially "exposure time" and should match the WindowTime in the "Coincidence" function. However, the "singles" of channel 1 and 2 in the same HistorySize can differ by several orders of magnitude depending number of bins set.
Is there a workaround to this?
