Add a synchronous mode to stop changing songs once started

Is it possible to have a setting which stops the jukebox from starting a new song if one is already playing? 

I am planning on hosting the Jukebox on a public facing domain and so people can use their own phones. Problem is it's going to end up with everyone changing the song non-stop
