[QUESTION] k2a is using old databases and somehow not able to get new filedates #3147

Android Version 1.14.r4 on a google pixel 10pro

I see the following behaviour:
I sync the files from my nextcloud to the pixel. My problem is, that k2a does not seem to recognize any more, when a sync happened and is for that reason not updating the database any more.
If I just copy the database on another machine and sync, and and open it as a new database, than I get the newer version. Problem than is, that I have two databases open and if I search in k2a I see all entries double.
To the above problem: I noticed, that if I want to open a new database within k2a -> open file -> Android-Dateibrowser the timestamp of the newly synced file is very old (and this old file is than opened). If I use another program on my pixel called "Dateimanager" and search for the file, it has the correct (brandnew timestamp).
Another problem I cannot solve: How can I "tell" k2a to "forget this database". During my tried, I opened new databases by copying as stated above, but I cannot find a way to get rid of them anyhow.
As the pixel is new, and I did not have the problems with the old pixel, I am not sure, if I am asking here at the correct spot.
Any help appreciated.
many thanks
Juergen
