[Bug] Not able to use email as username

Describe the bug

I tried adding my email address as username to login pegaprox. I could add it, but not able to login using it.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create user with email as username and setup password.
2. Try login with that account.

Expected behavior

Environment

• PegaProx Version: : PegaProx Beta 0.9.3.1
• Installation Method: : Installation script with default settings and SSL.
• OS: : Debian 13
• Browser:: Firefox 148
• Behind Reverse Proxy? : No
• UI? : Modern Layout

this is a indeed.
Works per design. We currently do not allow that to happen as these endpoints are simple reserved to the OIDC / LDAP Area.
I've moved therefore this ticket to the "feature request" section.
