Question

I would like a system where, when the alarm is armed and triggered, the siren does not sound immediately, but only a binary sensor in Home Assistant is activated. Home assistant will perform further checks with other sensors, and only after that, Home Assistant will activate the siren. How can I achieve this? How can I disable the siren and make it activate only when I want?

I was searching for the same thing, I ended up just using one cable from my siren trigger to a pgm output. So the pgms are already enabled in the pai integrations. My siren doesnt draw any amps from the trigger as its self contained. it just needs a ground on the trigger. if yours is a direct connection then you have to check the amperage limits of your pgms. if you are in limit then you can just add a rellay between the pgm and the siren.
