MIDI controller not recognized on restart until re-plugged

Description

On restart, the MIDI controller doesn't work even though it's plugged in — you need to disconnect and re-connect it. There are also errors during MIDI loading on startup, which would explain the behavior.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have a MIDI controller plugged in
2. Close and restart Rustortion
3. Observe that the MIDI controller is not recognized
4. Observe errors in the log related to MIDI loading
5. Unplug and re-plug the MIDI controller — it works again

Expected Behavior

The MIDI controller should be detected and functional on application startup without needing to be re-plugged.
