Consider adding filament drying parameters

At a minimum I would like to see a filament drying temperature as a parameter. Ideally there would be a drying time as well.

This could also be extended with information about the spool that the material is on, in case the spool cannot tolerate the drying temperature the filament requires. This information could be read by filament dryers and storage systems.

Hello, I'll try to do the research and consider it. On first glance, maximum drying temperature seems like a straightforward thing, but with the drying time I'm more cautious. I'm trying to make the fields as universal and as precisely defined as possible, and at this moment I don't think "drying time" meets that criteria. My intuition is that the proper drying time should depend on the air moisture and the base filament moisture, so we would need a quantity that's independent on these parameters.

Maybe, if not a dry time a recommended %humidity to stay below before use? It will help for smart dryers to notify when the spool is ready for use.

For sure you must specify MAX drying temperature, to avoid any drama.

We were having a discussion about all this today and it at the moment it seems like the underlying physical model is way too complex, so specifying recommended drying time as well will probably the the best course. I'll leave it a few more days to think through and then possibly add the proposed fields.

And, of course, the drying temperature would be there as well :)
