Jupyter Widget Improvements #113
Description
The Jupyter widget for exploring the UVDAT database added in #96 is a rudimentary proof of concept. It was helpful for exploring the data when the web client was incompatible, but it should be improved before it is considered ready for users. Ideally, the functionality provided by the Jupyter widget should replicate the web client as much as possible (not including project management, charts, or analytics).
- Improved authentication/session management
- Organization with Projects
- Improved display of datasets/layers list (add descriptions, categories, metadata, etc.)
- Search bar and max height for datasets/layers list
- Allow selecting multiple layers to view on the map, include visibility toggles and opacity sliders
- Fitting map bounds to selected layers
- Apply styling to layers on map
