History doesn't show the right workflow snapshot

Steps to reproduce:

1. User creates workflow_v1: webhook > adaptors A > B > C
2. User clicks run on workflow_v1: creating work_order_1 and run_1
3. User edits workflow to create workflow v2: webhook > adaptors B > C > D or A > B > C > D > E
4. User clicks history tab > selects run_1
5. User sees workflow_v2, not workflow_v1

To add insult to injury:
6. Switch to workflow_v1 in version picker
7. Click on run_v1
8. Canvas switches back to workflow_v2

Expected behaviour:
Viewing a run should show the right historical snapshot to match the logs

actually it seems that my attempt to demonstrate this edge case by switching out adaptor 1 from common to claude broke something and i can't save it...
