We've looked into Cursor's programmatic interfaces. Cursor does offer a CLI with JSON output (--output-format stream-json) and a Cloud Agents API (currently in beta), which could serve as a foundation for integration.

That said, OpenCow currently relies on Claude Code's hooks system and file-system watching for real-time session monitoring — Cursor doesn't have an equivalent event/hooks mechanism yet, so the integration approach would be quite different.

We'll keep this on our radar as Cursor's tooling matures. Labeling this as a future consideration.
