🚀 Looking for contributors: Odoo Connector for MariaDB/MySQL (based on OCA/connector)

Hello Odoo Community 👋

I’m working on a project that requires integrating Odoo with an external system (SEC) that stores data in MariaDB/MySQL.
The goal is to create a custom connector (based on OCA/connector and OCA/connector-interfaces) that will:

Read data from MariaDB (customers, sales, etc.).

Insert/synchronize it into Odoo models.

Possibly use ODBC for connection.

I’m looking for collaborators/maintainers who are interested in contributing to this connector.
Any guidance, partnership, or existing module suggestions are very welcome 🙏

Quick pointer: if you use connector_importer you can define an sql source like done here https://github.com/OCA/connector-interfaces/tree/18.0/connector_importer_source_sftp.

For the rest you can define the import of the models very easily by defining import.type records. You can see an example in connector_importer_product.
