Please make sure to install librosa. In your command window, type:

pip install librosa

Bat file still did not work, but running with "pythong SoftWhisper.py" works and i can see what's happening and what's missing

Strange. If you are on Windows, the bat file should detect what is missing and install everything for you.

Try installing opencv-python. Open a console and type:

pip install opencv-python

Thanks, it's worked. There other dependences to install (pyannote), but the GUI is opened. I will be able to test it later. Thank you for your help!

I download the Microsoft C++ Build Tools, and it launched and gave me many options for installing compiler tools etc. To my understanding C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\BuildTools\VC\Auxiliary\Build\vcvarsx86_arm64.bat is supposed to be installed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 Build Tools, specifically when the C++ build tools workload is selected which is what I tried. I tried adding more tools but eventually i ran out of hard drive space on my VM.

Any idea what it is I need to install? This was done with Powershell 5.1, I do have Powershell 7.510 installed as well.

Tried the suggestions in this thread and none of those worked for me either. Is it my environment or Python version?

I don't have much experience running Windows on Mac systems, but you might want to try downloading the Visual Studio ARM64 development tools. Specifically, try installing these:

• MSVC v143 – VS 2022 C++ ARM64 build tools
• Windows 10 SDK (10.0.19041.0) for ARM64 (or whatever the latest ARM64 SDK shows up as)

See if that works for you.

What worked for me:

• Windows 11
• Python 3.12.10 (installed from https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-31210/)
• SoftWhisper.bat
• pip install tensorflow
• pip install pyannote.audio
• pip install opencv-python
• pip install librosa
• python .\SoftWhisper.py

I found the above sufficient, also with Windows 11 and Python 3.12. One instruction would be sufficient for the pip installs:
pip install pyannote.audio librosa opencv-python tensorflow

#5 is a pull request with changes to documentation and to requirements.txt which I've commented could incorporate the above.
