crash with ancient spellcraft

When I click the "Create new world" button, this crash happened.
Also it's saying about default world generator mod.

I'm using the latest version of stellarcore & default world generator and after upgrading ancient spellcraft from 1.7.8 to 1.8.1, this crash happened

After disabling "ASFakePlayerFixes" option in stellar core config, this crash doesn't happen

[URGENT] Requesting Hotfix, it's causing false crash reports & severe log spam in Multiplayer

Issue Overview: There is a critical redundancy issue with the Ancient Spellcraft mixin. Since the author of Ancient Spellcraft has implemented a native fix, the patch in StellarCore is now conflicting with the base mod.

The Impact:

Extreme Log Spam: This is generating upwards of 10 false-positive crash reports every hour.

Config Failure: The mixin continues to fire and cause these issues even when explicitly disabled in the config.

Requested Action: We are requesting an urgent hotfix to remove this mixin entirely. Because the fix is now handled upstream by the original mod, this code is no longer necessary and is actively detrimental to stability.

Removing this would immediately resolve the false reports. Thank you for your time and for maintaining this core library!

Thanks for the report — root cause confirmed.

Ancient Spellcraft 1.8.1+ removed/changed com.windanesz.ancientspellcraft.client.entity.ASFakePlayer#FAKE_PLAYER, but StellarCore’s old ASFakePlayerFixes implementation referenced it directly (and also had a mixin shadowing it). This caused:

• NoSuchFieldError crash when the option was enabled (Create New World / loadWorld)
• mixin apply errors / log spam on newer Ancient Spellcraft

Fix: the obsolete Ancient Spellcraft ASFakePlayerFixes patch (mixin + world-load handler + config entry) has been removed on master in commit 59bf3f8.

This should resolve the crash for Ancient Spellcraft 1.8.1+; it’ll be included in the next release build.
