Currently libntxm (and consequently nitrotracker) has limited support for effects.
As far as they are technically possible to implement, handling for new effects could be added to the timer handler in the Player class.
If possible I would like to give my contribution. Time is kind of limited on my side, but I would like to improve upon nitrotracker as well.
