Question: there are no database table indexes on the business key

at the moment there are no default indexes on the business key which is quite heavily used from the nflow explorer side and also most examples. should there be an index on this ?

at the moment there are these indexes on the postgres table, the main one being the external id index.

If you can store the business key in the external_id, it is always the best option. But yes, we should at minimum recommend in the documentation to add an index on business_key, if the logic is using that value for queries.
