Odd issue with particles size that happens on new versions of Amds Drivers only?

Started happening for me around june-july 2023 but it seems i've forgot to say about it

I've tested with driver versions before that mid-2023 date and particle size works as intended again but to me feels a bit odd to have to downgrade just for properly scaled particles

it 1.7.0alpha but it also happens on 1.6.0
and just fyi on 1.5.4 and before it doesn't happen

Hi. Sorry to say but this is a driver bug. We are slowly switching back from point sprites to quad-based particles. Lacking driver support is one of the reasons for doing so.

I have a new-ish laptop with integrated Intel graphics, and the goal effects are not visible. Same for teleporters. The latest driver is installed.

Given the apparently poor compatibility of point sprites, I too would be in favour of replacing them.
