check_http_win

(Very!) Simple check_http alternative running on Windows hosts, based on my article on https://www.claudiokuenzler.com/blog/685/simple-http-check-monitoring-plugin-windows-check_http-alternative. The plugin should run without any additional installations/packages.

Usage

cscript check_http_win.vbs METHOD URL [EXPECTED_RETURN_CODE] [POSTDATA]

Important note: If you don't use EXPECTED_RETURN_CODE or POSTDATA, you still need to use empty arguments: ""

Examples

cscript check_http_win.vbs GET https://www.claudiokuenzler.com "" ""
HTTP OK - https://www.claudiokuenzler.com returns 200

cscript check_http_win.vbs GET https://www.claudiokuenzler.com/glerqlewsd "" ""
HTTP WARNING - http://www.claudiokuenzler.com/glerqlewsd returns 404

script check_http_win.vbs GET https://www.claudiokuenzler.com/glerqlewsd 404 ""
HTTP OK - http://www.claudiokuenzler.com/glerqlewsd returns 404 (expected: 404)
