Boot looping on initial install

I have flashed my panel with the merged_flash.bin file and on first power up it is boot looping.
is there an issue with the latest firmware that would be causing this?
I have flashed it through a few different esp home options but it still boot loops no matter what.

Any suggestions of what might be causing it?

Sorry for the delay, life's been a bit hectic as of late.

Did you have any other firmware running this panel previously? We've seen issue previously when users were running the blueprint GUI but we've not seen it for a while now. This was mostly an issue in the old v1.X releases and have since (at least should have) been fixed in the V2.X releases.

How did you flash the panel? We've seen, admittedly very few, but still, issues when flashing the panel via the web flasher at nspanelmanager.com via the web browser. Try flashing it again but by using some other method.

If that doesn't help I would need to get the logs from the crash and what firmware you were running at the time of the crash log. See https://nspanelmanager.com/docs/advanced/logs on how to get the logs from the panel.

I have flashed through the web flasher on nspanelmanager.com and through the esphome flasher web page but both ways result in the same. I tried to get the logs from the panel but i am using and older mac and i couldn't find supported software so was needing to use the terminal to do so and my skills/ability stop there for me.
I think i might have to accept defeat and continue using the Blackymas/nspanel blueprint i was using before.

Hey, web flashing can cause some issues. Try flashing with some other tool, like esptool.py where you download the firmware file and flash it from your computer. That might be the issue.

Cool, i'll have to look at options for non web flashing. On first look, it's not great on mac unless you are competent in terminal, which i'm not sadly. Thanks for the advice again

I have the same issue. I have used the HA Blueprint firmware from Blackymas (https://github.com/Blackymas/NSPanel_HA_Blueprint) and wanted to switch to NSPanelManager.
Here are the logs:

I assume it has something to do with the TFT files, but I am not able to get them to a working state.
I flashed through ESPHome, your webtool, and esptool via CMD.

I could fix the issue by using the firmware provided in this issue (#169).
The config page is on 192.168.1.1 (not .1.4), but the rest worked fine.

After that i faced the issue that the panel could not find http://:8000/download_tft_eu.
So I set up a second Docker with NSPanelManager 1.0.4 to download it from there.
After that, I was able to update the tft file from that and patch it onto the panel.
Then I flashed the new firmware (latest-stable) onto the NSPanel, and now everything is working.

I think this is more complex than it has to be, and there are easier ways, but that is what I was able to achieve with my knowledge.
